CHF: THE THREE PROBLEMS

1

You have High Blood Pressure: That means that your blood doesn’t fit in your blood vessels.

2

Leaking and collecting: Water leaks out of blood vessels and collects in places like our legs and our lungs.

3

Cramming, jamming & heart damage (AKA "Heart Failure"): The heart tries to pump blood into blood vessels that are jammed up with too much blood.  It's a strain.  It's a pain.  The heart gets damaged - That's heart failure!

Because:

Normal sized blood vessels have too much blood in them (because there's extra water).

And/Or:

Blood vessels have the normal amount of blood volume (amount of water).
